The Venn 440 S 32" is a complete 32-inch gravel wheelset, built by hand on the Venn 440 TCD UL 32" carbon rim: 44mm deep, with 32mm internal width and a hooked bead that takes tubeless and clincher tires alike. It is laced with Pillar PSR 1420 bladed steel spokes, and you choose the hubs that match your frame: Venn RH05SL hubs with 24 spokes a wheel on 12x100 / 12x142 thru axles for the lightest build at 1330g, 28-hole hubs on the same axles for heavier riders and loaded bikes, or Boost hubs with 28 spokes a wheel. Made for riders on 32-inch bikes who want a carbon wheelset built, trued and ready to fit.

Carbon Care

A crash should not cost you a whole wheelset. If you damage a Venn wheel in a crash within 5 years of buying it, Carbon Care lets you buy a replacement at a discount on its list price: 35% in the first two years, 25% in years 3 to 5.

Covers accidental crash and impact damage. Manufacturing defects are separate and are always repaired or replaced free under the warranty.
The discount is taken from the list price (recommended retail price), not from the price you paid. A single wheel is priced at 40% (front) or 60% (rear) of the wheelset's list price, less the discount; if both wheels are damaged, the discount applies to the full wheelset.
Available to the original owner for 5 years from the purchase date.

WHY 32 INCHES

A bigger wheel meets a root, a rut or a stone at a shallower angle, so it rolls over what a smaller wheel has to climb, and it holds its speed on rough ground. Over a long gravel day that means less effort for every kilometre and fewer moments where the bike stops under you. The 440 S 32" puts that wheel on a carbon rim made for it, with the width and depth a gravel tire wants.

A WIDE RIM FOR GRAVEL TIRES

At 39mm across its widest point the rim carries a wide tire cleanly, and the 32mm internal width sets the tire at its full section, so you can run low pressures for grip and comfort on loose ground without the casing folding in corners. The hooked bead takes tubeless and clincher tires alike, so the choice of tire stays yours.

PILLAR PSR 1420 BLADED STEEL SPOKES

A steel spoke yields slightly under a hit and comes back, taking energy out of an impact before the rim has to absorb all of it. The bladed profile is light and narrow, and any shop, anywhere, can source, true or replace one, which matters more the further from home you ride.

Choosing the Hubs

Choose the hubs by your frame and fork: the Venn RH05SL for the lightest build, 1330g a pair; the 28-hole hubs on the same 12x100mm and 12x142mm thru axles for heavier riders and loaded bikepacking, 1420g; or the Venn RH05BT for Boost frames, 1430g (1410g with the 12x100mm front). Every hub engages through a ratchet with 36 teeth, every 10 degrees, so the drive picks up quickly when you start pedalling again after a coast, and every hub takes a Center Lock rotor.

The Venn 440 TCD UL 32" is 44mm deep, 32mm wide inside and 39mm at its widest point, and weighs 400g +/- 15g. Its hooked bead holds a tubeless tire with sealant or a clincher with an inner tube, and the 32mm internal width lets a large gravel tire sit at its full section.
