Carbon Care

A crash should not cost you a whole wheelset. If you damage a Venn wheel in a crash within 5 years of buying it, Carbon Care lets you buy a replacement at a discount on its list price: 35% in the first two years, 25% in years 3 to 5.

  • Covers accidental crash and impact damage. Manufacturing defects are separate and are always repaired or replaced free under the warranty.
  • The discount is taken from the list price (recommended retail price), not from the price you paid. A single wheel is priced at 40% (front) or 60% (rear) of the wheelset's list price, less the discount; if both wheels are damaged, the discount applies to the full wheelset.
  • Available to the original owner for 5 years from the purchase date.
  • To claim, send proof of purchase and photos of the damage. One claim per incident.
  • Non-transferable.
Duties and taxes included for the EU, UK, US and Japan.

01

A CLIMBER'S DEPTH

At 36mm the rim keeps its weight low and gives a crosswind little to push against, while still cutting through the air better than a shallow box rim. It is the depth for long climbs, fast descents and days when the forecast says wind. The 28mm external width carries a 25mm to 28mm tire cleanly, and the 22.5mm internal bed gives it a round, well-supported shape at road pressures.

02

RATCHET HUBS ON SEALED STEEL BEARINGS

The Venn RH05SL hub engages through a ratchet across the full tooth face rather than through a pair of pawls, so power goes in the moment you load the pedals. It turns on sealed steel bearings, two in the front hub and four in the rear, which any bike shop can replace, on 7075-T6 aluminium axles in 6061-T6 aluminium bodies. Center Lock rotor mount, 100mm front and 142mm rear hub spacing, with a Shimano HG, SRAM XDR or Campagnolo N3W freehub.

03

UNCOATED FINISH, YOUR CHOICE

The 360 S carries no clear coat, whichever surface you choose: gloss, matte, or the 25k filament-wound pattern. Leaving the coating off keeps weight off the rim perimeter, where it costs the most in rotational inertia, and it leaves the quality of the underlying carbon structure on open display with nowhere to hide. Gloss and matte weigh the same; the 25k filament-wound surface adds 25 g per rim. All three cost the same.

In depth

Pillar PSR 1420 Spokes

Stainless steel bladed spokes, 24 in each wheel. Steel takes a sudden load in its stride, the bladed section cuts through the air and resists wind-up while the wheel is brought to tension, and any bike shop in the world can true the wheel or replace a spoke.

Rim Profile

The 360 TCD SL rim is 36mm deep and weighs about 345g, made with our 1k filament winding process. Its 28mm external and 22.5mm internal widths give a 25mm to 35mm tire a smooth transition from tire to rim and enough support to run it at comfortable pressures.

Questions riders ask

What kind of rider is the Venn 360 S for?

Riders whose rides are decided on the climbs, who ride in the mountains or in windy country, and who want a light carbon wheelset that stays true through a season. It is laced with Pillar PSR 1420 steel spokes, 24 front and rear, that any bike shop can true or replace. No Venn road disc wheelset costs less.

How much does the Venn 360 S weigh?

1190g +/- 30g for the pair, calculated from its parts: two 360 TCD SL rims of about 345g each, hubs of 75g front and 181g rear, and 48 Pillar PSR 1420 spokes.

Which freehubs fit, and how do the rotors mount?

Shimano HG, SRAM XDR or Campagnolo N3W. The rotors mount on Center Lock, and the hubs are 100mm wide at the front and 142mm at the rear.

Are the 360 S wheels tubeless-ready?

Yes. The 360 S is tubeless-ready and ships with tubeless tape and valves included. The 22.5mm internal width suits 25mm to 35mm tubeless road tires.

How does the 360 S compare with the 360 C SL?

Both use the same 360 TCD SL rim. The 360 S runs Pillar PSR 1420 steel spokes, 24 front and rear, on ratchet hubs with sealed steel bearings, for 1190g. The 360 C SL saves 70g with 20 / 24 carbon aero blade spokes and S&S ceramic bearings, for 1120g. Take the S for value and spokes any shop can service, and the C SL for the lighter set.

Is this the disc brake or the rim brake 360 S?

This is the disc brake 360 S, with Center Lock rotor mounts and thru axles. The rim brake 360 S TCC uses the 360 TCC SL rim with a 3D brake track and quick release hubs.

How long does delivery take?

Each 360 S is built to order with your choice of finish and freehub. It ships 5 to 8 weeks after payment, and you receive a tracking number at dispatch. Shipping is free worldwide.
