The Venn 2430 S AM 32" is a complete 32-inch trail wheelset, built by hand on the Venn 2430 THL AM 32", our trail (all-mountain) rim: 24mm deep, with 30mm internal width, hookless. It is laced 28 front and 28 rear with Pillar PSR 1420 bladed steel spokes onto Boost hubs or 12x100 / 12x142 hubs, from 1330g a pair. Made for trail riders on 32-inch bikes who descend hard and want a carbon wheelset built, trued and ready to fit.

Carbon Care

A crash should not cost you a whole wheelset. If you damage a Venn wheel in a crash within 5 years of buying it, Carbon Care lets you buy a replacement at a discount on its list price: 35% in the first two years, 25% in years 3 to 5.

Covers accidental crash and impact damage. Manufacturing defects are separate and are always repaired or replaced free under the warranty.
The discount is taken from the list price (recommended retail price), not from the price you paid. A single wheel is priced at 40% (front) or 60% (rear) of the wheelset's list price, less the discount; if both wheels are damaged, the discount applies to the full wheelset.

WHY 32 INCHES

A bigger wheel meets a root, a rut or a stone at a shallower angle, so it rolls over what a smaller wheel has to climb, and it holds its speed through rough sections. On the trail that means more momentum carried through roots and rock gardens, and less effort to keep it. The 2430 S AM 32" puts that wheel on a carbon trail rim made for it.

THIRTY MILLIMETRES INSIDE, HOOKLESS

The 30mm internal width holds a trail tire close to its moulded shape, so the tread blocks stand square and the side knobs bite when you lean the bike. The rim is hookless: there is no thin hook lip at the rim edge, so the sidewall can be laid up thicker where impacts land. Run tubeless tires approved for hookless rims and stay within the hookless pressure limit of 5 bar (72.5 psi).

TWENTY-EIGHT STEEL SPOKES

Pillar PSR 1420 bladed steel spokes, 28 in each wheel. A steel spoke yields slightly under a hit and comes back, taking energy out of an impact before the rim has to absorb all of it, and twenty-eight of them spread trail loads and braking torque so no single spoke carries an outsized share. Any shop, anywhere, can source, true or replace one.

Choose the hubs by your frame and fork: the Venn RH05BT for Boost frames, 1340g a pair (1330g with the 12x100mm front), or the 28-hole hubs on 12x100mm and 12x142mm thru axles, 1330g. Every hub engages through a ratchet with 36 teeth, every 10 degrees, so the drive picks up quickly when you start pedalling again after a coast, and every hub takes a Center Lock rotor.
