Est. 2008 · filament winding pioneered 2015
Wheels you stop thinking about.
We made the first filament wound bicycle rims, and every Venn rim model has to pass our impact test before it goes on sale. Our technology page links each core technology to the process and the tests behind it.

The range
22 wheelsets · all tubeless-ready · 5-yr rim warrantyC Carbon spokes
Carbon aero blade spokes on hubs with ceramic bearings. The lightest, stiffest road and gravel sets.
HE1 Helix-01 hub
Venn's own Helix-01 hub with 72-tooth helical engagement, on Sapim CX-Ray steel spokes. A hub only Venn has.
S Steel spokes
Bladed steel spokes that any bike shop can true or replace, on Venn ratchet hubs. The lowest price on a Venn rim.
Rim brake
For rim brake road bikes: TCC rims with a 3D brake track, bladed steel spokes and the Venn RESR-01 ratchet hub, with quick release and Shimano HG 11-speed.
Weights are ±30 g. Disc road & gravel freehub: Shimano HG / SRAM XDR / Campagnolo N3W. Rim brake: Shimano HG 11s.
Four steps. One specification.
Every Venn wheelset goes through four steps: layup, molding, inspection and building. The first film is from the winding era, 2023.
Layup to net shape
The carbon is laid up accurately and preformed to net shape, then goes into articulated, multi-part tooling, as in aerospace and rare in rim making.
Precision molding
A PLC controlled molding process using high tolerance molds with a specially treated surface, prepared in a clean room environment to eliminate surface and layup imperfections.
Inspection & QC
Six checkpoints from material batch to finished rim, with laser layup verification and X-ray batch testing.
Wheel building
Machine-assisted lacing, then expert wheel builders tension and true each wheel by hand from zero tension, measured with a digital tension meter.
The evidence shelf
15 testing steps before sale
Impact from 100 J, spoke pull-through, deformation, heat resistance and X-ray batch inspection. Every rim model passes before it is sold.
